Before I zeroed in on the Guy Incognito concept, I kicked around a bunch of other ideas. There were several obscure pop culture references (naturally), a few attempts to do something interesting with an obscure TLD extension, and about a page-and-a-half of one or two word options, not a single one of which (it turned out) had an unclaimed domain name equivalent.

With the die now officially cast, a few questions remain: did I pick the right one? Does it ultimately matter? Why are we even talking about this? Who could conceivably give a shit? …and so on.

I’m sure the answers will eventually reveal themselves, just as I’m sure that, whenever they do, I’ll have long since lost interest in the questions.
